you just did not wait long enough,, that's all. just find out which system is your master browser first, go to DOS box and typr these two line in:

nbtstat -RR (Enter)
nbtstat -R

at that point you master browser should recognize your new connection.

How to install HP LaserJet 1200 for Win7 (Printer shared by other machine)

Windows 7 64bits and HP LaserJet 1200 driver via network perfect fix:
1. Control Panel ---> Devices and Printers
2. Add a printer
3. Add a local printer
4. Create a new port ---> use (Local port) ...next
5. Port name ---> type printer location: type (\\FIN-PC\HPLaserJ) ...next
6. Install printe driver ... select (Windows Update)... wait for some minutes and more
7. Select 'HP'... then 'LaserJet 1200 PCL 5' from the list... next
8. Wait for some minutes or more... life would not be this simple if you don't try.

Print Redirection

Easy Print Redirection was available for Windows Server 2008 TS only and it was not available when connecting to computers running Windows Vista. Now it will also be available when connecting to Ultimate/Enterprise editions of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Remote Desktop Session Host servers.

The setting “Use Remote Desktop Easy Print printer driver first” must be set to “Enabled” for Easy Print redirection, and it has to be “Disabled” for Legacy Print. For “Not configured”, Easy Print is chosen by default.
The policy location is “Computer Configuration -> Administrative templates -Windows Components -> Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host -> Printer Redirection”.

The Redirect only the default client printer policy setting allows you to specify whether the default client printer is the only printer that is redirected in Terminal Services sessions.

The policy location is Computer Configuration -> Administrative templates -Windows Components -> Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host -> Printer Redirection -> Redirect only the default client printer

আমারটিউন ব্লগে সবাইকে সালাম এবং শুভেচ্ছা।আশা করি সবাই ভাল আছেন।আজকে আপনাদের মাঝে শেয়ার করলাম কিভাবে পেনড্রাইভের সাইজ বৃদ্ধি করা যায় ।আপনারার দেখেছেন হয়তো পেনড্রাইভ FAT, FAT32 ফাইল পদ্ধতিতে চলে, ফলে এখানে ফাইল সংকোচন করার কোনো সুবিধা পাওয়া যায় না। কিন্তু NTFS ফাইল পদ্ধতিতে সংকোচন করার সুবিধা রয়েছে। এনটিএফএস ফাইল পদ্ধতিতে পেনড্রাইভের মেমোরি অনেক সাশ্রয় হয়।চাইলে পেনড্রাইভকে FAT অথবা FAT ৩২ থেকে NTFS এ রূপান্তর করা যায়।এ জন্য উইন্ডোজ অপারেটিং সিস্টেমের Start>Run-এ গিয়ে cmd টাইপ করে এন্টার বাটনে প্রেস করে কমান্ড প্রোমট খুলুন এবং সেখানে টাইপ করুন convert p: /FS:NTFS লিখে এন্টার করুন।p-এর জায়গায় পেনড্রাইভ যে ড্রাইভে রয়েছে সেই অক্ষরটি হবে, যেমন o ড্রাইভে হলে হবে o লিখতে হবে। এবার My computer-এ গিয়ে পেনড্রাইভের আইকনে ডান ক্লিক করে Properties-এ যান। এখান থেকে Compress Drive to Save Disk Space অপশনে টিক চিহ্ন দিয়ে OK চাপুন।

What does "the USB device can perform faster" mean?

Windows does occasionally notify you that "The USB device can perform faster if you connect it to a High Speed USB 2.0 port."

When, why, and what to do about it vary depending on your system and the USB device you have in hand.

•

USB (Universal Serial Buss) currently has two versions: the older 1.1, 12 megabit per second standard (mbs), and the newer 2.0 capable of 480mbs, or 40 times faster than 1.1. Both USB devices, and the interfaces you might plug them into, are either version 1.1 or 2.0.

One interesting aspect of USB is that it's totally valid to mix and match 1.1 and 2.0. The very common scenario is that a computer will have a USB 2.0 interface, capable of the higher speeds of 2.0, but will still support and work properly with 1.1 devices plugged in.

The reverse is also true, and I think that's the scenario you're seeing. It works like this:

"And that's exactly what Windows is telling you: you have a 2.0 device plugged into a 1.1 interface."

• Your computer has a USB 1.1 interface. That means it's limited to the slower 12mbs speed.

• You purchase a newer USB 2.0 device and plug it in. It works, which is nice, but even though the device is capable of 480mbs your computer's USB interface will limit it to the slower 12mbs.

And that's exactly what Windows is telling you: you have a 2.0 device plugged into a 1.1 interface. As a result it'll perform slower than it could. If you were able to plug it into a 2.0 interface then the device would be able to operate at full speed.

The difference between 1.1 and 2.0 is a difference in hardware, so it's not something you can just install new software for. In addition, most machines are manufactured with all 1.1 or all 2.0 interfaces. Typically older machines have 1.1, and newer machines have 2.0. So it's also not just a matter of plugging into a different port on your machine, chances are they're all the same.

If you have a machine with USB 1.1 interfaces the only real alternative, short of upgrading to a newer machine, is to purchase a USB 2.0 add-in card. The USB ports provided by that card will be the higher speed 2.0, while your older USB interfaces on your machine will remain 1.1.
